`If Neil Young, The Eagles, Creedence, The Outlaws, CSNY, The Byrds, & the likes is you're '' bag '' then go and see these guys, you won't be disappointed, great band! Boy could they all sing, great harmonies, also I think every band member sang a song and did a brilliant job, They covered songs by, Neil Young, (Harvest Moon went down a storm), The Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The Byrds and the song of the night for me was "Perfectly Good Guitar, by John Hiatt, it was awesome!! There was a huge crowd in for them lapping every minute up, I can't wait to see them again`!

`My partner dragged me out on Saturday night, said there was a band on at the office where he had seen on a few occasions, well taking the chance to get out with him, which in reality is every week, we ended up at the Office in shields, where Big River were booked, I had heard of them, but not that interested, because of Mmmm............ The Eagles! Neil Young. I thought ok, its a band, I like live music, give it a go, WELL, they were impressive, they all sang, and harmonized, fantastically well, and when Aynsley done the Neil Young stuff I thought if you closed your eyes it was actually him, he even looked like him with that hat and the way he moved, the drummer gave a great performance of Love Will Keep Us Alive, what a voice he has, but Copperhead Road done it for me, the singer was first class,   They have a young guy on bass who only looked 18 years of age Mmmmm, but could he play the bass! He sang Hotel California, which was fantastic for a bass player as he was putting in the runs, and the guitar solos were first class... I will be looking out for them in the future, Well Done Lads`!

Watched a handful of tunes the other night in Whitley by this lot. Wish we could've stayed for the whole set, really great band. Two classy guitarists and four of the band singing - lush vocal harmonies that were faultless. So many bands try this kind of thing and don't quite cut it. But Big River did cut it - the results were pure ear candy.

I thought that the band were, ...better!

I wrongly assumed with 2 new guys in that you might have some teething issues, and that things may not be fully polished. But I was completely wrong. The band sounded tighter than ever, the harmonies were better, and your lead singer sang better too. Last couple of times I've seen you play, he's had a tendency to slip out of key on a few tunes. Don't know whether that was a past monitor problem where he couldn't hear himself properly, but for every song this time he was bang on.

A very noticeable and delightful improvement all around.

Nice one!

These guys made probably their fifth appearance at Steels last night and it is great to see how much they have improved over the last couple of years. I have always liked the band because of their set list but now after a couple of line up changes and with plenty more gigs under their belts they really have come together. Crackin' solo vocals from Alan, Aynsley and Billy and tight harmonies from the whole band make them IMO one of the best bands around performing this genre of music. West Coast and Southern rock of the more commercial nature, with a heavy influence of The Eagles and Neil Young in the set list, were played to a very appreciative audience, so if this is your cup of tea music wise, get along to see these lads you won't be disappointed.
